After Samsung and LG, the Indian phone maker Intex has become the 3rd company to launch curved display smartphone. The native phone company has introduced the alleged smartphone in the form of Aqua Curve in the country today. According to the company, the phone has been officially priced at 12,490, and will hit the shelves in coming days.
The dual-SIM Intex Aqua Curve boasts 5-inch qHD OGS based curved display bearing 540×960 pixels resolution, and operates on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor paired with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Aqua Curve smartphone sports an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Among the other features, it has 4GB in-built memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card, 2000 mAh battery, and usual connectivity options including 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and GPS connectivity.
The Intex Aqua Curve comes in three–Black, Blue and Red colour options and several software tweaks such as Shake Screenshot feature which allows users to take screenshots by shaking the phone.
