A report published in The Wall Street Journal indicates that Apple is all set to launch two new versions of its iPhones with larger screens this year. According to the report, Apple’s these iPhone versions could be launched in the second half of 2014 in order to face the challenges from the rival handset makers including Samsung, Nokia and Sony, LG, HTC etc.
The report adds that one of the iPhone version will boast a screen larger than 4.5-inch (11.4 centimeters) diagonally, and the other will have a display bigger than 5-inches. Apple uses 4-inch display in its current iPhones.
There is no word on the internals of these two upcoming models, but hopes these would be similar to the current iPhone 5S which includes A7 A7 chip with 64-bit architecture, 8MP camera, latest iOS, Touch ID sensor and a host of software customizations.
