The Chinese tech giant Huawei is all set to launch two new devices, Ascend G730 and Ascend Y600 in India in March 2014. This information has been extracted from the product roadmap shown at the Huawei Club events held in various cities in the country over the last few days.
The Huawei Ascend G730, which was showcased at CES 2014 and is available only in China at the moment, features 5.5-inch qHD display and comes powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 2300 mAh battery. Among other features, it has 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, and the usual set of connectivity options.
If we talk about the internals of Huawei Ascend Y600, it packs a 5-inch FWVGA display and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It includes 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB on-board storage, microSD card slot, 2100 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front camera as well as usual connectivity options.
The company has however not revealed the pricing and availability of either phones, but speculations are rife that Ascend G730 will carry a price-tag around 15,000 while Ascend Y600 would most likely retail under 10,000.
