Simmtronics Xpad Turbo, the dual-SIM tablet which went on sale back in December last year, has been now official announced in the Indian market. The company announced the launch on Friday and noted a price of 7,999. However the tablet is currently retailing via Snapdeal with a price tag of 8,056. We hope the retailer would cut the pricing as soon as it will get new stocks of tablet.
The specifications of the tablet are already known to us, but to remind, Simmtronics Xpad Turbo is a voice calling tablet which packs 7-inch capacitive multi-touch display having 1024 x 600 pixels resolutions, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB DDR3 RAM and 4GB of internal memory on-board.
In addition, it includes 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera, dual-SIM (2G+3G) with dual standby and 32GB microSD support. The tablet is powered by 2,800 mAh battery rated to offer 140 hours standby, 4 hours of web browsing and around 3 hours of video playback time. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and 3G.
The Simmtronics Xpad Turbo comes in only white colour option, and is competing with Micromax Funbook Mini P410, Lava E-Tab Ivory, Swipe Halo Value, Penta T-Pad WS708C and other tablets existing in the country which feature dual-SIM support and similar internal specifications, and come in similar price range.
