A new affordable Android based tablet has been launched in the Indian market this week. OPlus, the populat Taiwanese phone vendor has announced the launch of the tablet, called XonePad 7 in India on Friday. The company has partnered with e-retailer Snapdeal, which will be the only retailer via which the tablet will be sold in the country for a price of 9,990.
On the specifications front, the new Oplus XonPad 7 comes with 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and voice calling support. It is powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and includes 12GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of in-built storage and 3500 mAh battery.
The specification also includes 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and 32GB microSD support. For connectivity, the tablet comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G, which means that you’ll be able to pop in a SIM card and surf the internet without having to rely on Wi-FI connectivity.
