We have finally got hold of the official press release for the Micromax LapTab, the new Windows 8.1 – Android dual-boot tablet, which was announced yesterday at Pepcom’s Digital Experience in Las Vegas.

According to the press release, Micromax LapTab (yes, there is no Canvas branding) features 1.46GHz Intel Celeron N2805 processor, Android 4.2.2/ Windows 8.1, 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280x800p resolution and 2GB of RAM. It also comes with 7400 mAh battery, 2MP front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, 32GB of storage, microSD card slot, and Wi-Fi support.

Micromax is also bundling a wireless keyboard with every LapTab, which includes a 230mAh battery that can last upto 20+ hours of usage.

According to Micromax, LapTab will go on sale in early-February across the country. There is still no word on the pricing.
