As promised, ZTE has finally announced launch of its latest flagship in the form of Grand S II on Monday. being considered as the successor of previously launched Grand S, the phone packs 5.5-inch full HD IPS display bearing a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The company would also showcased this smartphone along with its other innovative device at ongoing CES-2014 exhibition in Las Vegas.
In addition, the ZTE Grand S II packs 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and comes powered by Android OS out of the box. The exact Android version is not clear at this point, but it’s believed to be Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It also has 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and full HD video recording support, 2MP front-facing camera and microSD cad slot for memory expansion. It includes a powerful 3000 mAh battery and comes with several connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS including 4G LTE.
Apart from these, the phone also comes pre-loaded with several software tweaks like Voice control technology for voice unlocking, voice-to-phone self photography and My Drive assistant app with higher voice recognition rate, reducing distraction while driving. It would also have triple-MIC noise reduction for more natural and clearer voice calls.
No word on the pricing and availability yet. We might shortly hear some words regarding this at ongoing CES, where ZTE has promised to show Bluewatch, its first Smartwatch and its first phablet with a 5.7-inch HD display and lot more device.
