After the launch of flagship Vibe X, Lenovo has now announced the launch of its second flagship under Vibe series globally. Dubbed as Lenovo Vibe Z K910, the phone would be available starting next month in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and the Philippines for starting $549.
Being considered as the Lenovo’s first LTE enabled phone, the new flagship Vibe Z boasts 5.5-inch full HD 1920x1080p IPS display, and is powered by a powerful 2.2GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB on-board storage.
The phone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and packs 13MP rear camera with f1.8 aperture, 5MP front shooter, 3000 mAh battery and connectivity features such as 4G LTE /3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP and aGPS.
In addition, the Lenovo Vibe Z also comes with gesture controls that enables users swipe down on the screen to call up notifications, slide it up to display the phone’s settings and double tap for custom commands. The company has also included its custom Super Camera and Super Gallery apps to make smartphone shutterbugs happy.
Already available in Chinese market, the phone comes in silver and titanium color options. Speculations are rife that Lenovo would showcase the device at CES 2014 later this week, but there is no official word on it as of now.
