After the successful launch of Galaxy Grand 2, Samsung seems to be preparing to announce its another mid-range smartphone, called Galaxy Core Advance in the Indian market early next year. Being considered as the successor of previously launched Galaxy Core, the phone was originally announced early this month globally.
The phone is currently listed at e-retailer HomeShop18 which says that the phone would be available in the second week of January next year. The phone has been also found listed at Infibeam, but with “coming soon” tag.
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and featuring physical Android navigation buttons, the new Galaxy Core Advance includes 4.7-inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 2,000 mAh battery and usual set of connectivity options.
There is no word on the pricing for the Indian market at this point, but the phone is expected to carry a price tag between 15K to 20K. The actual pricing would be revealed only with the availability of the smartphone.
