HTC has introduced a new Desire series smartphone, called Desire 400 Dual SIM in the Russian market today. The phone has been priced at 9990 Russian Ruble (approx. Rs.18920), and it packs specifications similar to the Desire L which was launched in the Chinese market back in April this year.
Similar to Desire L, the new HTC 400 Dual SIM features 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen Super LCD2 display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB using microSD card.
The HTC Desire 400 Dual SIM runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and includes 5MP auto focus camera with HTC ImageChip, LED Flash, BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording support, dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) support, FM radio, Beats Audio support and 1800 mAh battery. For connectivity, the phone comes with 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, DLNA, GPS and GLONASS.
According to the company, the phone is available in White and Dark Grey colors There is no word on its global availability outside Russia yet, but considering the HTC’s previous track record, the phone could be launched in other markets too.
