Looks like XOLO, the brand company famous for introducing quad-core processor powered smartphones in the country, is quite near to launch its first 4G LTE enabled smartphone called XOLO LT900 in the Indian market. The alleged phone is currently spotted listed at e-retailer Flipkart which is an indication that it might be launched soon in coming days or early next month in 2014.
Earlier rumoured to be launched in November 2013, the new XOLO LT900 will pack 4.3-inch 720p HD IPS display, 8MP rear camera, 1MP front camera and 1810 mAh battery. Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the phone will come powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of on-board storage and usual connectivity features including 4G TDD-LTE support.
XOLO is expected to partner with AirTel to launch the device in the country because as you know Airtel is the only telco which is providing (although only in selected cities) 4G services in the country. There is no word on the pricing of the phone yet, but hopes it will carry an affordable price tag between 15K and 18K in the Indian market.
In addition to XOLO LT900, a new high-end phone, called XOLO Q3000 is also found listed online at Flipkart. According to the product listing, the phone will come packed with enticing features like 5.7-inch FHD IPS display, 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6589 Turbo quad-core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and an extremely powerful 4,000 mAh battery. Among other features, it will boast 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, microSD support for expanding storage up to 64GB and usual set of connectivity options.
