Samsung is reportedly planning to introduce its most awaited Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone in the Indian market on 23rd December, 2013. The exact pricing of the device is unclear at the moment, but speculations are rife that it will cost between 19,000 and 21,000. According to the company, the smartphone will go on sale via several leading e-retailers as well as Samsung India’s official mobile stores in the country.
Being a successor of existing Galaxy Grand smartphone, the all new next generation Galaxy Grand 2 comes featured with 5.25-inch screen with 16:9 HD ratio, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of on-bard storage, which is expandable up to immense 64GB via microSD card.
It also has an 8 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, 1.9 megapixel front camera and usual set of connectivity options. It houses a powerful 2,600 mAh battery which is claimed to offer up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls. With the Galaxy Grand 2, Samsung takes its Multi Window feature to the next level by maximising the benefits of the device’s large screen, enabling users to run one application in two windows at the same time.
