XOLO, the Indian phone vendor popular for introducing quad-core processor powered mid-range as well as high-end smartphones, has officially announced the launch of India’s first Nvidia Tegra 4 processor powered tablet, called XOLO Play Tegra Note at a press event held in New Delhi today. Needless to say that the table is a re-branded version of Nvidia’s reference tablet Tegra Note which was introduced back in September this year.
Earlier spotted available on pre-orders, the tablet has been priced at 17,999, and is now available for purchase from all leading retail stores across the country.
If we talk about the specification, in addition to 1.8GHz quad-core Tegra Note processor, the all new XOLO Play Tegra Note comes with 7-inch 1280x800p HD display, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. It runs on Android 4.2.2 and packs 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and stylus support.
At the press event, XOLO has revealed that it is planning to release Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update soon to this Tegra Play Note tablet via over-the air.
