A new mid-range Android dual-SIM smartphone from Micromax is now available in the Indian market starting today. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500, the smartphone can now be grabbed from e-retailer ShopClues for 11,999.
On the specs front, this Canvas series smartphone comes with dual-SIM (GSM+CDMA) support and features 5-inch display. Powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it packs 1GHz dual-core processor, 768MB RAM, and 1850 mAh battery.
Among other features, it has 8MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, 32GB microSD support and usual connectivity options including CDMA support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
In addition to Canvas Blaze MT500, Micromax has also introduced a new affordable smartphone under its Bolt series in the form of Bolt A47 in the country. The phone is also available via Shopclues, and is priced at 4,699 in the Indian market.
According to the ShopClues’ listing, Micromax Bolt A47 comes with 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display, dual SIM support, Android 4.2 JellyBean, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front facing camera and 1600 mAh battery. There is no word on capacity of RAM, processor branding and display resolution at the moment. The company is expected to reveal all these details at the time of announcement.
