Expanding its Android portfolio, MAXX Mobile has announced the launch of two new Android based dual-SIM affordable smartphones in the Indian market on Wednesday. The phones are dubbed as MAXX AX51 and AX505 DUO, and are now available for 9,999 from several e-commerces and leading retail stores across the country. With the addition of these two phones, the company is now offering total of six Android smartphones in the country.
On the specifications front, both these smartphones feature 5-inch capacitive touch screen display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution, and pack 1.2GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6572W processor, 3MP rear camera with LED flash and 0.3MP VGA front camera.
Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform, both the smartphones include dual-SIM support, 512MB RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, 32GB expandable memory with microSD, 1700 mAh battery, and connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
While the MAXX AX51 comes with 3G support, the AX505 DUO have 2G (EDGE) support. The AX51 is also called MSD7 3G – AX51 and has a signature of Indian skipper M.S. Dhoni on the back of the phone, similar to other MSD7 phones from MAXX Mobile.
