Expanding its Titanium series, Karbonn has announced a new full HD display bearing quad-core processor processor powered Android flagship smartphone, called Titanium X in the Indian market today. The phone has been officially priced at 18,490, and will be available shortly for purchase via several e-retailers across the country.
The Karbonn Titanium X is the second smartphone after Titanium S7 from Karbonn which features full HD resolution bearing display of 5-inch. It runs on Android 4.2, and packs 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. It includes 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front camera, 2300 mAh battery, microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
With this pricing and features, the Karbonn Titanium X will be competing with the likes of Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 and Gionee Elife E6 in the country, which also pack similar specifications.
The launch of the smartphone has been actually announced by Mr. Kapil Sibbal, the Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology, India, and commenting on the smartphone, Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles has noted in press release:
