Almost a month after the announcement in South Korea, LG has revealed that the company is going to start shipping the LG G Flex across the globe beginning this week. According to the company, the new LG G flex will hit the sores in Singapore and Hong Kong followed by prominent Asian markets soon after.
The LG G Flex will be available on pre-order starting December 8 in Singapore, and the phone will hit the stores in Hong Kong starting December 13, said the company official.
“The LG G Flex has captivated early adopters everywhere as the first smartphone curved to follow the contour of the human face, made possible with the implementation of the world’s first curved smartphone battery. With a durable plastic OLED (P-OLED) HD display, the G Flex also comes with a self-healing back cover that eliminates those day-to-day scratches, making it the first smartphone to incorporate such technology,” LG noted in a press release.
Running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the LG G Flex features 6-inch 720p display, and is powered by 2.26GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone includes 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, microSD card slot, NFC and LTE support.
