A report originating from Canada suggests that LG G2 might get the Android 4.4 KitKat update in Q1, 2014, most probably around the end of March 2014. The report quotes LG Canada’s Court Elliot, who has stated that LG Canada is going to offer the software to carriers in the first quarter of the next year, but the exact roll-out details are currently a mystery.

A Model with LG G2

We hope to see the update arriving around the same time to other markets and probably a little earlier to the unlocked G2 units as their update does not have to go through the carrier verification.

LG G2, which is the current flagship smartphone of this Korean manufacturer, runs on Android 4.2.2 and the on-board firmware is said to be the worst part of this, otherwise decent, smartphone.
