Samsung is reportedly all set to start its MWC 2014 Journey with the announcement of a new Galaxy Grand series smartphone, called Galaxy Grand Lite (GT-I9060). According to the folks at Sammobile, the smartphone will go on sale by the end of January-2014, and will be available in White, Midnight Black and Lime Green and orange colour options. Pricing of the smartphone is not clear at the moment.
According to the report, the specifications of Galaxy Grand Lite is said to be the inferior to the existing Galaxy Grand 2. It will reportedly boast 5-inch WVGA resolution bearing display, and will pack 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and 2100 mAh battery.
In addition, the phone will also include 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, microSd card support for memory expansion, dual-SIM support and usual connectivity options. The Samsung Galaxy grand Lite will be powered by either Android 4.2 or Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. According to reoprt, the phone is expected to be launched in markets like India and Russia first.
