Micromax has quietly introduced a new dual-SIM Android powered affordable smartphone under its Bolt series in the Indian market starting today. The phone is dubbed as Bolt A61, and is up for sale via several e-commerces including Infibeam and leading retail and electronics stores across the country. It is priced at INR Rs.4,989.

Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the new Micromax Bolt A61 features 4-inch WVGA touchscreen display and is powered by 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB of internal storage and 1500 mAh battery.

In addition, the phone includes 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, microSD card slot, dual-SIM support and usual connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

With these features and specifications, the Micromax Bolt A61 is competing with the likes of Videocon A24 and Spice Smart Flo Ivory 2 Mi-423 smartphones, which also come in similar price-bracket.
