In addition to Intex and Huawei, Gionee is also going to release recently launched MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor powered smartphone in coming days. If reports are to be beleived, the company is looking forward to launch Elife E7 Mini—the mini version of its recently announced Elife E7 smartphone in coming days. In reports, the phone is reportedly said to be powered by MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Revealing the specifcations, a Taiwanese website Sogi.com.tw claims that this upcoming mini version will come with 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera and connectivity feature such as 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It will reportedly be powered by 2100 mAh battery.
There is no word on the actual release date yet, but the phone is expected to feature the new MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor. It’ll be competing with with other octa-core devices such as Huawei Glory 4 and Intex’s unnamed smartphone, which are arriving in January 2014.
In related news, Gionee’s recently introduced Elife E7 is also set to be released in India in January next year. The phone will come with 5.5-inch full HD display, Snapdragon 800 and 16MP rear camera.
