A French website, named NoWhereElse has apparently revealed the metal frame of Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S5 which is scheduled to be launched next year globally.
According to the report, the metal frame was provided by a Samsung sub-contractor, which has been asked to manufacture it without specifying the model. Since Galaxy S5 is said to be the first Samsung smartphone to have an all-metal body, it is expected that this frame will be used in the same device.
The dimension of the frame, which is 143.83mm in length and 72.27mm in width suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 will boast a screen larger than 5-inch. Samsung’s current flagship Galaxy S4 measure 136.6mm long and 69.8mm wide.
Other report related to Galaxy S5 claims that it will boast highest 2K display resolution and 560ppi pixel density. The leaked metal casing suggest that the Samsung has planned to reposition the camera and earphone jack in the Samsung Galaxy S5 as the cut-out for the camera module in the frame is located at the top-right corner.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is also rumoured to pack 64-bit eight-core Exynos 5430 processor and 16MP camera with optical image stabilization, . The company is also expected to include waterproof and dust-resistant body, eye scanner and recently unveiled Isocell sensor in this upcoming flagship.
