As expected, HTC India has officially announced the launch of its latest flagship One Max in the country today. As per the company, this mega phablet is price at 56,490, and will hit the shelves soon in the country. At this pricing, HTC One Max is being considered the as costliest smartphone available in the Indian market.
As far as the specifications are concerned, they are already known to us as they’ve appeared many times in the recent past. Originally announced back in last month, HTC One Max boast 5.9-inch full HD display bearing resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and comes powered by 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor paired HTC’s own Sense 5.5 user interface, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.
Among the other features, it has 4MP Ultrapixel camera, 2MP front camera, 3300 mAh battery and connectivity options such as 3G HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, NFC support, and GPS .
This is not all; HTC One Max is the first smartphone from HTC to come with a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device, which can be used to lock or unlock the screen or quickly launch up to three favourite applications by assigning an individual finger to each.
Announcing the product, HTC India has revealed that One Max will come bundled with free 50GB of free cloud storage from Google Drive for two years. There is no word if HTC One Max comes with any free accessories.
