HTC India is finally ready to launch its current flagship in the Indian market. According to the Business Standard, this mega smartphone will carry a whopping price tag of 56,000 in India and will come bundled with two accessories – HTC Mini+ and HTC Fetch. HTC Mini+ is a companion device for select 2013 HTC Android models and can work as a phone, camera remote, or even TV remote when connected to your phone, while HTC Fetch is a keychain accessory, which can activate your phone’s ringtone in case you can’t find your phone. The device has a working range of 15 meters. The India launch of HTC One Max is reported to be held next week.
Being considered as the great competitor of the likes of Galaxy Note 3, LG G2, Sony Xperia Z1 and even Apple iPhone 5S, the HTC One Max was announced last month, and with this price tag, it is being touted as the costliest Android smartphone which is likely to be available in the Indian market.
We’re already aware with the specifications of HTC One Max, but to remind, it comes featured with 5.9-inch full HD display, and is powered by 1.7GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and includes 16GB/ 32GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 4MP Ultrapixel camera, 2MP front camera, fingerprint sensor on the back and 50GB of free Google Drive space.
In related news, HTC India is also gearing up for the launch of four Desire series smartphones in the Indian market. Not much details are available related to these smartphone at this point, but the expected launch is said to be imminent. We would not be surprised if they get reveal alongside HTC One Max in the country too.
