Videocon has released a new Android based 3G voice-calling tablet in the Indian market this week. The tablet is dubbed as Videocon VT85C, and is being considered as the successor of existing VT75C which was announced back in May this year. The Videocon VT85C has been priced at INR Rs.8,999 and will be available shortly in white colour via leading e-retailers across the country.

In terms of specifications, this 7-inch Videocon VT85C supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS backed by 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor paired with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 4GB of internal memory. On the camera front, it has 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.

The tablet is powered by 3,000 mAh battery, and includes FM Radio, 32GB microSD support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS/AGPS. It features a SIM card slot for 3G connectivity and a ear piece for voice calling. It comes with range of pre-loaded applications including Facebook, OperaMini, NQ Mobile Security, Vstore, Hungama and more.
