The native phone maker Lava has quietly started selling two new Android smartphones in the Indian market starting today. Dubbed as Lava Iris 503 and Iris 352e, the smartphones are now available for purchase from online retailer Flipkart as well as company’s authorized retail stores and electronics shops across the country.

According to the retailer’s product listing, the new Lava Iris 503 sports 5-inch IPS display having qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It comes powered by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and includes dual-SIM support, 1.2MP front camera, 2000 mAh battery and microSD card support for 32GB memory expansion.

The phone has been priced at INR Rs.8990, and at this price Lava Iris 503 will be competing with the likes of XOLO A600, Zen Ultrafone 502 qHD, Intex Aqua N2, iBall Andi 4.5z and Panasonic T31.

On the other hand, Lava Iris 352e features 3.5-inch HVGA display having 480 x 320 pixel resolution, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform. It packs 1GHz dual-core processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB RAM, 2MP rear camera, 1450 mAh battery dual-SIM slot and usual connectivity options. It is priced at INR Rs.4,290.
