After the launch of Galaxy Golden and SM-W2013 Android flip phones, Samsung has now officially announced the release of a new flip phone in the suite. Dubbed as Samsung SM-W2014, the smartphone has been actually announced at the China Telecom’s “Heart of the World” charity concert and has been priced at CN¥10,000 (around USD $1600).
There is no word on the launch of the smartphone in other markets outside China and South Korea at this point, but we would not be surprised if Samsung launches this flip phone in other markets too including India like Galaxy Golden.
Most of the specifications of the SM-W2014 in line with whatever we reported earlier including dual 3.7-inch Super AMOLED display having 800×480 pixel WVGA resolution, a faster top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 32GB on-board storage, Android 4.3, 2GB RAM and 13 MP rear shooter.
The phone is powered by 1,900 mAh battery and includes 2MP front camera, 32GB microSD support, and usual connectivity features.
