Motorola’s upcoming rumoured Moto G smartphone has been finally made its appearance in the company’s official website yesterday. Spotted in the website navigation menu, it was hyperlinked to moto-g.com, which is not-accessible right now. The menu item for Moto G was later removed.
Being considered as the cheaper and budget version of flagship Moto X, the Moto G is speculated to be launched as Motorola DVX, which is rumoured to pack 4.5-inch display, dual-core processor based Motorola X8 chip system, dual-SIM support and Jelly Bean. The remaining specifications of the smartphone are not known at this point.
There are no words on the official launch as well as on whether it will be indeed launched as Motorola DVX, but the expected announcement is expected to be very soon now, and if Moto G is indeed DVX, it will be released in emerging and prepaid markets, as noted by Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside in an interview after the Moto X launch.
