If reports are to be believed, the Japanese tech giant Sony is all set to unveil two new smartphones, called Xperia Z1S and Xperia Tiachi on November 12 in China. The reports indicate that Sony is going to held a press event next month in Shanghai where it’s expected to launch both the smartphones. The company will start sending the invitations for the event soon.
just 3-4 days ago, prolific leaker Evleaks had shared an image of the Xperia Z1S and revealed that the smartphone will be a variant of Xperia Z1f aka the Z1 Mini. The specifications of this smartphone is still unconfirmed, but speculations are rife that it will feature 4.3-inch 720p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2,300 mAh battery, and will be powered by Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
As far as Sony Xperia Taichi is concerned, not much details related to the phone are available at this point, but it’s rumoured to be mid-range phablet with a 6-inch display with a 1280×720 resolution and an octa-core MediaTek CPU inside.
According to the reports, these two new smartphones will hit the stores in Chinese markets first before heading to other international markets. While the Sony Xperia Z1S is reported to be launched in other markets like launched India too, we don’t think Xperia Taichi will be launched in other markets. The phone is said to be exclusively launched for Chinese market.
