After launching several Kindle Fire range of tablets, Amazon seems to be planning to jump in to the smartphone arena too in coming days. According to a report published in Financial Times, Amazon is reportedly partnered with Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC to launch its smartphones, and if rumours are to be believed, it’s working on three Android powered smartphones.
FT even suggests that the company is very near about giving final touch of two of three smartphones, but there is no word on their release plan. Amazon has also no intention to announce any of the smartphone this year, So, we will probably see one or more of these smartphones next year.
At this point, there are no words on the specifications of either devices as both the companies official has declined to comment on the report, but considering the previous tie-up of HTC with Facebook, we’re highly inclined to trust on the report and expect that HTC will do more tie-ups with other vendors too to improve its overall smartphone business in coming years.
