After Micromax, Lava is the second company which has announced a dual-SIM tablet in the country this month. The company has just introduced a new affordable Android powered tablet, called E-Tab Ivory featuring 7-inch display in the Indian market today. The tablet has been priced at 10,199, and is being considered as the successor of existing Connect series that also supports voice calling facility.
In terms of specifications, it boasts 7-inch capacitive touch screen display having 1024 x 600p resolution and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is rather outdated now.
This dual-SIM tablet is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM and 4GB internal memory. It includes 2MP main shooter on the back, 0.3MP front camera, 3000 mAh battery, and 32GB microSD support.
Connectivity options of the tablet include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. In addition, the tableo comes pre-loaded with various usefu; apps including Total Recall HD, NFS HD, Hungama, OLX, Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp.
At this price, the Lava E-Tab Ivory will be competing with Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 and 3 series tablets as well as recently launched Micromax Funbook Mini P410 which is retailing for 8,820 in the country.
