It’s now almost certain that Nokia will showcase a Windows RT powered tablet at upcoming Nokia World event, which is scheduled to be held on 22nd October in Abu Dhabi. The latest teaser of Nokia for the event also revealed the alleged tablet. We might not have the confirmed specification, but thanks to the prolific leaker Evleaks we have at least the first purported image of the tablet.
The image posted by Evleaks shows the tablet in Cyan, but it’s also speculated to come in red, black and white variants as well. The screen size of Nokia Lumia 2520 is supposed to be of 10.1-inch. We’re not pretty sure about the specification at this point, but rumours are rife that the tablet will be powered by quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and of course will run on latest Windows RT 8.1.
Apart from usual connectivity options including micro USB, bluetooth, WiFi, the phone is expected to ship with an 8MP Carl Zeiss camera on the back and in-built storage of 16 GB in $500 variant.
As there is no official word on the specifications, we take it with a pinch of salt at the moment, and are looking forward to hear the official announcement which is just-10-11 days ahead.
