LG’s latest tablet G Pad 8.3, which was announced early September this year, is now going to be available globally in coming days. The company has today revealed the tablet is all set to hit the shelves in South Korea next week followed by 30 markets by the end of this year. According to the company, the tablet will be priced at 500,000 won (around $510) in Korea. As far as the Indian availability is concerned, the tablet is expected to be launched sometime in this month.
The specifications of this tablet is already known to us, but to remind, LG G Pad 8.3 boast 8.3-inch display with 273 ppi, and packs 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB LPDDR2 RAM, 16GB of internal memory, 4600 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 16GB internal memory, and usual set of connectivity options.
According to the company, it is releasing only Wi-Fi version of the tablet at the moment and there is no word on whether LTE or 3G version of the tablet will ever be available or not.
