Sony’s plan to join the suit of the likes of Samsung and HTC with the mini version of its flagship Xperia Z1 is no longer a secret now. The rumours about the upcoming mini version of Xperia Z1 aired even before the announcement of Xperia Z1, and most of the specs were revealed at that time. Yesterday, a new set of images and detail specs sheet has been surfaced on the net. Thanks to Xperia Blog who has posted images ans specs sheet of Xpeia Z1 Honami Mini headed to NTT Docomo in Japan.
The image shows the Xperia Z1 f Honami Mini standing along with its big sibling Xperia Z1 having LED flash next to rear camera.
According to the specs sheet, it’s now almost certain that Xperia Z1 f Honami Mini will come with 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) Triluminos display, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and 2.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony G lens and 2MP front camera. So apart from display size,there are not much differences between the siblings as far as internals are concerned.
In addition, the device will be powered by 2,300 mAh battery and will pack 16GB internal memory on-board.
The Xperia Z1 f Honami mini is also reported to come with aluminium frame and IP55 / IP58 compliant for dust and water resistance. The specs sheet also reveals that it will come in Black, White, Pink and Yellow colors. The device is expected to be launched in NTT Japan later this month.
