HTC is yet to unveil its first phablet–One Max, but several online reports indicate that the Taiwanese manufacture is busy in developing yet another phablet that could be launched in coming days. According to the report of ePrice, the company is working on HTC Butterfly II, the successor of its Butterfly aka Droid DNA smartphone, that would be launched early next year in Taiwan.
The report further notes that the smartphone will include 5.2-inch display and will be powered by Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. There is no word on the other specifications including RAM, internal storage, camera and Android version at this point, but considering it a high end smartphone, it’s speculated to feature latest Android 4.3, at least 2GB of RAM and huge internal storage.
According to the source of ePrice, the smartphone would be launched around Taiwan’s Lunar New Year, which is in the end of January 2014, and will most likely be available in Asian markets.
Pricing of the device is a mystery at the moment, and also there is very little information available right now but considering the leaks we have seen for the last some HTC devices, more information about Butterfly II would be hitting the web soon enough.
