Panasonic has today revealed that it will launch multiple features phone having prices under 5,000 in India in November. The Japanese company which has just joined the smartphones markets, is currently offering four premium smartphone models in the the country.
Revealing the company’s plan, Panasonic India managing director Manish Sharma said:
Panasonic is conscious of the market and demand for phones priced below Rs 5,000. Considering the same, we plan to come out with a feature phones below 5,000 by November this year. We have already launched four premium models since our entry into smartphone market and we will continue to offer a wide range of phones. We are looking at budget phones and may introduce them following up on these launches.
Panasonic had introduced its first smartphone in the India market in form of P51, which boast 5-inch display IPS display, Android 4.2, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. It is currently retailing for 26,990 in India. This month, company has also announced three more new smartphone model in the price range of 9,790 to 16,490.
