Samsung has quietly announced a new mid-range Android smartphone in the form of Galaxy Trend 3 in the Chinese market yesterday. The pricing of the smartphone is not revealed at this point, but the company said that the smartphone will be available in China beginning next month. There is also no word on the launch of the smartphone in other markets outside China.
The phone, Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 is listed at Samsung China website, and as per the product listing, it comes in four models–SM-G3502, SM-G3502U, SM-G3508, and SM-G3509. Most of the specifications of these four variants are same, but there are still a few differences like the network support and Android version. SM-G3502 and SM-G3502U run on Android 4.2 and support WCDMA/ GSM, while the other two variants come with Android 4.1 and support CDMA/ GSM (G3509) and TDSDMA/ GSM (G3508).
The common specifications of all four models include 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1800 mAh battery, and 3MP rear camera (5MP in SM-G3502U).
Connectivity options of Galaxy Trend 3 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.
