The dual-SIM version of Sony Xperia M now available for purchase in the Indian markets in the form of Xperia M Dual. Where Saholic is charging INR Rs.14,990 for the phone, Snapdeal is selling the phone for INR Rs.14,490 to the customers. The single SIM variant of the phone is already available and currently retailing with a price tag of INR Rs.12,799 in the country.

Sony Xperia M

Both versions (Single and Dual-SIM) of Sony Xperia M were originally announced in June this year. As far as the internals of Xpria M Dual are concerned, it packs similar specification as the single SIM variant including 4-inch display, Android 4.1, 1GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera, and 1750 mAh battery.

Although the product listings on Saholic and Snapdeal note the presence of Android 4.1 in Xperia M dual, but we highly believe that the phone runs on Android 4.2 as Sony has always noted that dual-SIM version will come with Android 4.2.

According to Sony, Xperia M dual lets users select between two SIMs before making a call or sending a message with just a single click. Each SIM card can also be customised separately.
