Samsung has started rolling out its current flagship Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch in multiple countries including India, Taiwan, South Korea, UK and some other countries except USA starting today. The company is expecting to sale 10 millions units of Galaxy Note 3 in these markets at starting.
As far as India availability is concerned, priced at 49,950, the Galaxy Note 3 is now available for purchase from online retailers Flipkart, Saholic as well as company’s authorized stores situated across India. The Samsung Galaxy Gear has not been found listed on any online retailer at this point, and it’s only being sold by Samsung official e-store in India. Pricing of the devices may differ country to country, so it’s good to visit your nearest Samsung dealer to know the exact pricing of the devices.
Originally announced on 4th September in Berlin, both the device were launched on 17th September in the Indian market.
In terms of specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 boasts 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display and packs Android 4.3, 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa or 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB in-built storage, 13MP rear camera, and 3200 mAh battery.
On the other hand, Galaxy Gear smartwatch packs 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display with 320×320 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB memory, 1.9MP camera and 315 mAh battery.
In related news, Samsung is now looking forward to launch the cheaper version of Galaxy Note 3 in some emerging markets. The cheaper version is rumored to boast 5.5-inch LCD display and 8MP rear camera.
