After several rumours and leaks, LG has finally announced the launch of next generation Vu 3 smartphone in South Korea yesterday. According to the company, the smartphone will be available starting September 27 on SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ telecom operators in Korea. There is no word on the pricing and availability of the smartphone in other markets at this point.
On the specs front, the LG Vu 3 packs 5.2-inche display with 1280x960p resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. It is powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Among the other features, it has 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera and the usual set of connectivity options. LG Vu 3 also comes with a Rubberdium stylus and a host of software customizations.
With the smartphone, LG is also introducing a QuickView case, which is made of translucent material and can show notifications, time, date and other stuff.
In the related news, LG is also all set to launch its current flagship G2 in India on September 30. LG G2 sport 5.2-inch FHD display, 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB on-board storage and 3,000 mAh battery.
