Remember the report in which we had said that Samsung would launch two new mid-range smartphones in the Indian market this month. Today we’re hearing that one of the smartphone is already available in the country in the form of Samsung galaxy Trend Duos. Even though Samsung has not announced it officially, it is available for purchase in India from online retailer Snapdeal for 8,490. Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos is also available in China, but with different name.
As far as the specifications of Samsung Galaxy Trend are concerned, according to Snapdeal product listing it packs 4-inch TFT display with 480×800 pixel resolution and dual-SIM support with Dual-SIM always on feature.
It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform, and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB RAM, 4GB on-board storage and 1,500 mAh battery.
In addition, the phone also includes 3-megapixel rear camera, micorSD support up to usual 32GB, and connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. However the absence of front camera in Samsung Galaxy Trend may be downfall for the device as most of smartphones available in this price range definitely include this feature.
