LG is all set to launch its current flagship G2 in the Indian markets at the end of this month. To make the launch event a grand success, the Korean manufacturer’s India arm has started sending out invitations to the tech press in the country. In the invitations, the company has mentioned September 30 as the launch date of LG G2 In India.

Touted as the competitor of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1, the LG G2 features 5.2-inch full HD display, and is powered by 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB on-board storage and 3,000 mAh battery.

Originally announced in August, the LG G2 also packs 3MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, microSD support, and usual connectivity features. It include volume and power button just below the rear camera.

In addition, the flagship LG G2 comes pre-loaded with several software tweaks including Answer Me (Automatically answers the call after lowering the ringtone when the phone is raised to one’s ear), Plug & Pop (Recommends options or related features to choose from when the earphone or USB cable is detected) and Slide Aside (Enables easier multitasking by simply “sliding” open apps off to the side using a three-finger swipe), to enhance the overall experience of the device.

There is still no word on the pricing of LG G2, but considering the price tags of recently announced Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1 in the Indian market, it’s expected to be priced aggressively. The flagship is speculated to start rolling out in the country beginning next month.
