Samsung India’s official e-store has started taking pre-orders for the recently launched Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch in the country. Both the devices were launched globally on September 4 at Samsung Unpacked Event in Berlin, and India is among the countries that will get the new gadgets in the first phase of launch on September 25.

However putting pre-orders for the gadgets are not completely free. The company is charging INR Rs.2,000 in advance for pre-booking of Galaxy Note 3. As far as Galaxy Gear is concerned, the company is not offering it as standalone device. It can only be purchased as a bundled offering with the Galaxy Note 3 as of now. Pre-orders for the combo of Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3 also cost INR Rs.2,000. Customers placing the pre-orders will be required to pay the rest of the amount when the device is launched.

The pricing for the devices are still unclear, but speculations are rife that the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will come carrying price tag of INR Rs.45,000 and INR Rs.20,000 respectively in India.

To remind, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports 5.7-inch screen, 1.9GHz eight-core processor, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera, Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and 3,200mAh battery. This device also comes with a new S Pen stylus that offers new features like preview of tasks and options at a single tap.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch features 1.6-inch Super AMOLED screen, latest Android 4.3, and 1.9MP camera. The watch is capable of making calls, capturing photos and videos as well as showing notifications like messages, social media updates, health data etc. This device works only with the Android 4.3-powered Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 at present.
