Toshiba has announced two laptops and one Android powered tablet on Ongoing IFA trade fair, Berlin. Both laptops, Satellite Click and Satellite NB15T, and tablet Encore are powered by Windows operating system.
According to the company, Toshiba Satellite Click is a 13.3-inch IPS touchscreen laptop-cum-tablet hybrid. It is powered by AMD A4 (Temash) processor along with Radeon 8000 graphics, includes 500GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, and dual batteries. It also has Webcam, Micro USB 2.0, an HDMI port, and a MicroSD slot. The laptop comes with a keyboard base that has extra battery cells to provide users around two extra hours of runtime.
On the other hand, Satellite NB15T is a touch screen laptop that sports 11-inch display, and is powered by Intel Celeron (N2810) dual-core processor, and 500GB hard drive. The laptop has USB 3.0 and an SD card reader.
Lastly talking about the tablet, Toshiba Encore sports 8-inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixel resolutions. It packs Intel Atom processor, 32GB of storage, microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera. Among the other features, it has Micro USB 2.0 and Micro HDMI, accelerometers, gyroscopic control, stereo speakers and GPS and usual connectivity options.
The company has planned to offer the tablet with a full copy of Office Home & Student 2013, along with Xbox Smart Glass app and a “free streaming pass to Xbox Music” to the custumers. There is still no word on the pricing and availability of the either device, but the products are expected to be available by the end of this year globally.
