Asus has announced the launch of a high resolution tablet in the form of Transformer Pad TF701T in a press event held in Berlin late yesterday. The company teased the product without giving much details just 4-5 days before via its official Facebook page.
According to the press release issued by the company, the Asus Transformer Pad TF701T boasts 10.1-inch IPS display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and comes powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 4 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
It also packs 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 32/64GB internal storage and microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Along with the tablet, the company has also introduced a keyboard dock, which includes USB 3.0, SD card slot and battery. There is still no word on the pricing from the company, but considering the specs, it’s not going to be cheap. According to the company, the tablet will be available before the end of the year.
