The newly announced Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch are likely going to be available in India starting September 25 this month. A reliable source familiar with the matter has confirmed that India is among the 140 countries where Samsung is scheduled to start selling these devices beginning September 25.

Samsung is reportedly going to sell 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa-powered variant of Note 3 smartphone in the country. The company s expected to release 32GB version initially. Running on latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the new Galaxy Note 3 includes 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display, 3GB RAM, 3200 mAh battery and 13MP rear camera as well as several software customization.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch features 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display, 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 1.9MP camera and voice calling facility as well.

There is no word on the pricing of either devices at this point, but considering the USD $299 price of Galaxy Gear in USA, it’s expected to be sold at around INR Rs.20,000 in the country.
