Propelling its Aqua series to the next level, Intex has now announced a high-end smartphone in the series in the form of Aqua i7 today. Featuring 5-inch full HD 1080p display, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a powerful 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, the smartphone has been priced 21,900 in the country.
According to the company, Intex Aqua i7 will start rolling out in the country starting September 9 via leading online retailers and retail outlets. The smartphone will come in Pearl White and Pearl Black colour variants. Along with the smartphone, company will also offer few freebies such as flip cover and screen-protector to the customers.
Among the other features, it has 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory on-board, 13MP camera and 5MP front camera.
It has been powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, and this is the only concern we think the manufacturer has gone wrong. Considering the power consumption by 5-inch FHD display, the phone maker was highly expected to include at least 3,000 mAh battery. We’re not sure the battery provided in the phone is able to offer even 24 hour of battery back up in idle mode.
According to the press release issued by the company, Intex Aqua i7 also comes pre-loaded with “Matrabhasha” – a multi-lingual application introduced by Intex in 2013, which allows a user to operate the phone in preferred regional language supporting upto 22 regional languages including: Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Maithili, Marathi, Bodo, Santhali, Manipuri, Sindhi, Dogri, Konkani, Nepali and more.
