HTC has today introduced two new Android smartphones in Desire series. Dubbed as Desire 601 and Desire 300, both the smartphones will join already launched Desire 500 and Desire 600 in the series, and will be available in selected markets from next month.
HTC Desire 601, mostly known as HTC Zara is a mid-range phone that comes with 4.5-inch qHD display, 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
It is powered by 2,100 mAh battery and features 5MP rear camera, front camera, as well as HTC’s signature features like Blinkfeed, Zoe and BoomSound and dual frontal stereo speakers. For connectivity, it supports LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
On the other hand, HTC Desire 300 is a low-end smartphone with 4.3-inch WVGA display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. The phone comes with a 5MP rear camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 1650 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
