IFA is yet to begin but announcements have already started rolling in. We have already seen LG’s new G Pad 8.3 and now Alcatel has unveiled two new Android smartphones and one tablet in its One Touch series
While One Touch Idol S is a mid-range smartphone, One Touch Idol Mini and One Touch Evo 8HD are budget devices. All three devices run on Android 4.2 and are powered by dual-core processors.
Coming to specific devices, One Touch Idol S packs a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It will be sold in Slate, Fresh Rose, and Cherry Red colours.
Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini features a 4.3-inch FWVGA display, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. it will be sold in Slate, Silver and Cranberry Pink colours.
Lastly, One Touch Evo 8HD tablet sports a 8-inch 1024x768p display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 3MP rear camera, 2MP front shooter, 3G support, and 4160 mAh battery.
There is no word on the pricing or exact availability right now but the new devices should be be available in Q4.
