After spotting at the benchmark website, GFXBench earlier this week, the new Asus Padfone Infinity has made its first appearance in Taiwan. The Taiwanese website ePrice who also revealed fingerprint feature in upcoming HTC One Max phablet, has posted the first images of alleged smartphone and hinted that the device could be launched by the end of September.
Touted as the successor of original Asus Padfone Infinity A80, this new device is reported to include an upgraded Snapdragon 800 processor instead of Snapdragon 600 in its predecessor. The remaining features of the smartphone are expected to be as Padfone Infinity A80.
To remind the original Padfone Infinity A80, launched back in February this year, comes with 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.7 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM and 64GB internal memory on-board.
According to the ePrice, the company is also expected to ship a tablet dock along with the smartphone that allows users to dock the phone inside.
